While laying in the bed, the sleep setting should not change without the customer initiating the change. If the system is defaulting to a setting that the customer has not set, please see Controller Issues
Air pressure changed and air loss:
The air pressure may change over time due to certain environmental factors, which include, body weight, barometric pressure, temperature, and sleep position. While this list is not exhaustive, these are the most common factors. The air pressure fluctuations should not exceed 10 units above or below the customer's preferred setting.
Fluctuations beyond 10 units:
1. Body weight and body position affects the air pressure in the mattress. If you are checking your setting while out of bed, then it will appear that your setting is not accurate. Make sure you are checking the air pressure from the same position.
2. If you have determined that there is air loss, you must set the mattress to your desired setting, then completely disconnect the pump from the bed. You should wait a few hours and check the setting again.
- If the result of this test is that the mattress has not lost air, then pump is causing the issue and needs to be repaired/replaced.
- If the result of this test is that the mattress has lost air, then the air chambers may need to be replaced.
